June and July 2023: Beef by the quarter, pick-up in Eyota MN

In the fall of 2020, we started raising Katahdin hair sheep. They have been bred exclusively for meat quality for generations. Many people claim hair sheep meat tastes much better than meat from wool breeds because they don't produce lanolin the way wool sheep do. Our sheep are 100% grass-fed and finished. Contact us to get on the list for some of the best lamb you've had, or just to get a package to try it out!

A quarter beef will typically yield 85-115 lbs of boxed beef. This method of ordering allows for the most customization because you may choose the thickness of your steaks and size of your roasts. Purchase your beef in bulk by the quarter, half or full.

Our production decisions are based on the Meat Standards Australia research, as we believe they have done an incredible job of identifying all the variables that go into an amazing eating experience. they have conducted taste-testing with almost 800,000 samples by 114,000 consumers from 11 countries, and we use the data from this research to produce the best product for our consumers.

All beef is processed at USDA inspected Lorentz Meats in Cannon Falls.
About Knutsons
Regenerative Ag
Our goal is to establish a multi-faceted farming operation where each piece has a specific role to play in the sustainability and efficiency of the entire farm. We plan to plant more perennial crops and utilizing cover crops for fall/spring grazing. Recently we planted parcels of highly erodable soil to a perennial pasture mix to help expand our land base while sequestering carbon/building soil in those spots.
